Fox and hound figures support this fine, early 19th Century antique reproduction frame. Individually cast and finished by hand in the United States. The pewter is composed of Britannia, a fine bright finish alloy sometimes called "silver pewter" for its resemblance to sterling. This is the highest grade of pewter available and will not tarnish. As pewter is a soft metal, care should be taken in handling. Holds a 4"x6" photo.
