The super stars of the turf such as jockey Fred Archer with his straight legged position are typical of the era. The dark bay racehorse is leggy and elegant, a born champion. Horse and jockey is stitched in a intricate tight petit point, background landscape in needlepoint of neutral shades of tans, gold and olive greens. All the needlework is 100% wool and hand-made. Pillow is finished with a tan piping that matches the tan cotton velveteen fabric back with a concealed zipper for cleaning. (dry clean only) Filled with down feather insert.
