          Toast in Derby Style! Julep cup design from Arthur Court. Cup is engraved featuring famous twin spire on one side, and inscribed with "Churchill downs", "Louisville, KY" with the fleur-de-lis on the other. The Kentucky Derby collection from Arthur Court is officially licensed from Churchill Downs, a true American historic landmark. Stainless Steel, hold approx. 14oz., 4" tall. Sold individually. Gift boxed.

          MINT JULEP RECIPE
          1 cup sugar
          1 cup water
          1 cup mint leaves
          Crushed ice
          100 proof Kentucky bourbon
          Mint sprigs

          In a saucepan, combine sugar and water; bring to a boil. Cover and cook, without stirring, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. In a bowl bruise mint with the back of a wooden spoon. Place mint in a jar, add sugar syrup, cover and chill in refrigerator for 12 - 25 hours. When ready to use, strain mixture and discard mint. To serve, fill frosted silver mint julep cups or old-fashioned glasses with crushed ice. Add 1 tablespoon syrup and 1 oz. bourbon for each serving. Stir, garnish with a mint sprig and serve with a half-sized straw. Makes 21 servings.

          Each piece of Arthur Court is cast in aluminum using the ancient art of sand casting and hand polished to a permanent silvery finish. Variations in the products reinforce the fact that every piece is made by hand, and therefore is unique.

          Care:
          Wash your Arthur Court Designs by hand with mild dishwashing soap and dry immediately. DO NOT WASH IN DISHWASHER. The brilliant polish luster we be permanently dulled by the high heat of a dishwasher or oven. To prevent stains, remove all food and liquid - especially fatty acids, vinegar or salad dressings - from platter and vessels after use or insert a glass liner for food service. It is recommended that just prior to serving, your piece be wiped or sprayed with vegetable oil. By doing so, the oil will act as a barrier against highly acidic or salty foods, which may otherwise dull or discolor the finish.

          Unlike silver, our aluminum products do not require regular polishing. As needed, pieces can be brightened with Cape Cod rubbing cloths, or other fine silver polishing compounds.
