Henry Koehler was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1927 and currently lives and works in Southampton, New York. He graduated from Yale University, and shortly after that had illustrations published by "The New Yorker", "Town and Country", and "Sports Illustrated". Koehler now ranks as one of the foremost exponents of contemporary art and, as such, is internationally renowned.
