Elegant study of a Borzoi by the late Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt (1895-1977), one of the most famous and revered 20th century artists of dogs.He studied at the Weimar Academy of Fine Arts, where he became a student under the artists Theodor Hagen and Lionel Feininger. His work has been published by the Hanfstaengl Publishing Company in Munich since 1917. His engravings are still published today at the printing shop in Munich, formally Franz Hanfstaengl, Munich . All engravings are still printed on 300lb hand made acid-free paper, printed by hand from the original copper plates, using the same directions as given by the artist himself. The prints are signed under the supervision of the artist's estate. Paper measures 20.5" x 15", image 10" x 12".
